Pregnancy

Will my primary physician deliver my baby?
While one main physician may provide your prenatal care, your delivery will be provided by whichever of the six physicians is “on call” the day your baby decides to arrive. The doctor “on call” is aware in advance and will be available any time of the day or night. Our expert team of physicians will provide you with the best continuous care possible.

What hospital will I deliver at?
Effective April 28, 2009, our physicians will ONLY accept new OB patients for care/delivery at St. Francis for patients who have Wheaton-Franciscan Health Insurance.  Our physicians will provide obstetric care/delivery at West Allis Memorial Hospital (Aurora Women’s Pavilion) for patients that have all other private insurance.   Please let us know if this requirement will not meet your obstetrical needs.

Can I register early with the hospital I choose?
You will be given hospital information at your first pregnancy visit that includes a registration form. This form should be filled out and mailed to the hospital as soon as possible. This ensures you are registered and expedites your admission to labor and delivery.
